Hey partek, my ski area is Hyland ski and snowboard area in Minnesota. You are replacing a Borvig 80's triple with a fixed quad. I was wondering if you knew if this was the original triple lift at Berthoud Pass, Colorado, because on Coloradoskihistory.com the Berthoud Pass ski area history says that when the resort closed the lift was sold to a ski area in the midwest.

Hopefully Hagen can clear this up, but I thought he said Partek was putting in a brand new lift there.

no, the old lift that is being removed is a BORVIG TRIPLE. NOT a quad. The new lift is a PARTEK QUAD! The old berthoud triple was moved to the midwest somewhere, and the quad was moved to berkshire east. So where is the Borvig triple originally from. Do you understand the question now?

To clear up the confusion;
The lift being installed at Hyland is a new Partek Quad. The Borvig Triple that was removed was originally installed there in 1982 and has been sold to Chestnut Mountain, IL.
The Betrhoud quad is installed at Berkshire East, the Triple is in the parking lot at Snow creek, MO and the Double is installed at Cascade Mountain, WI.
The lift at Hyland is almost finished, just needs to be wired.

You guys are fast- it's not even August and all you need to do is wire?
The last installation I worked on (okay, the only one) I wired the lift in October... We even reused the tower tubes but it still took us a while to build the lift.
