Referring to the last post- I'm glad you didn't go into the unlocked areas. The crew that has that lift was working on terminal service and probably was building sheaves at the shop when you walked by. That is also why the lights were on. What you see in the second shot is the lateral rail entry or the 'trumpet'. You can't see the compression rail from outside like that.
