.wps = Microsoft Works text document (my favorite oxymoron)

Why does Mircosoft has to be so stupid...I have all the programs except this one.

It's fine, I was able to download a patch off mircosofts website that allows me to open WPS files in Word.

if u r smart. u won't need to download anyting. if you ahve office 2000 or office xp it will open with no problem. :)

Don't think so Jeff, I tried that and it said it had to contact the Mircosoft through the internet to download that patch and I wasn't online with that computer, so I just downloaded it off their site instead for my 98 OS computer.

This is the terrain I last spliced a rope on... In a little waterfall will slippery steep rocks with frogs everywhere :)

Office 2000 and Office XP will do it, after you install the converter files to convert them over, usually after you use the first time. You can also add the converter files at time of installation.

That looks like a lot of fun, Allan. The last one I did was on a nice slope of alpine tundra, and it would have been a perfect spot except for the 60km/h winds.
