YAY!

So why is it that no one else mentioned it when Canada Day is right above?

Well the Canada Day thread was started on the day, and Independence Day is so tommarow, so we we just waiting.

Its been a good 228 years here in America, hopefully the next 228 will be even better.

Fireworks on the golf course, maybe a cookout at someone's backyard, maybe a Jupiter Hammerheads (Class A) baseball game, maybe the beach

Im going to San Francisco to watch the display shot off in the bay. Going up around 11 this morning, and probably stopping at the Cable Car museum, and just walking around untill the show.

Already went to the parade (lots of candy, the girls will be up all night :crying: ) and we're waiting for it to get dark so we can watch the fireworks. Maybe it will snow...

Well................................

I was @ copper today :) well july 4th.

my dad flew his r/c helicopter in one of the parking lots and i went over to the eagle and flyer and looked around. I noticed that one of the chairs on the flyer was held in place a by a bunging cord..... (spelling)

and the lights were still turned on up in the terminal on the eagle @ 5pm.....

I'll be back @ copper in two weeks ;)

Damn operators... (we usually don't leave the lights on in the summer)
The carrier at the Flyer is parked there because we found some issues that need attention, but I haven't had the time to fix them yet.

Well it was nice and foggy in SF last night, but the show was still pretty cool. The whole sky seemed to glow, then the fireworks fell out under the fog. Many people were upset, but i really enjoyed it. I get to play with some fun stuff tommaorw night :)

Bill, did you put on any shows this year?

Yeah, I did the usual one on Hood Canal for Bill Gates. This year I actually got to meet him, very interesting guy. Rumour had it he was hosting Bill and Hillary Clinton as well. Never saw them, but there were Black Federal Sedans with Federal plates in Mr. Gates driveway which leads me to believe that it was true and security was VERY tight around his complex. Bill and Hillary are in the Puget Sound area for book signings and fund raising.

Very cool. Did you talk to him much, or just a quick hello?

Just a quick hello. He was entertaining someone that just got pulled in with a 80' yacht. Must be nice to have money.
