I do not know the date of the instalation but estimate it to be about 1984-1986. The mile one recived new paint last season.

That looks like our spring on the Eagle- one crew doing line work while another builds the deck. The covered terminal is original; that's the motor room so you need a roof on.

It's the Name we've adopted for very thin terminals with covers only over the working parts. I think it originated from it looking "pancake" thin. So we use the lift manufacturer infront of Cake to identifiy these lifts. Probably the most inamous is the Yancake followed by the Leintnercake and the Doppelcake. Numerous examples can be found around the site. Lake louise had a Yancake, other examples of Doppelcakes are some lifts at Keystone. There is a good Leintnercake @ big white and one at Solvista.
