Base lodge at Whitecap burned January 18th. New owners this past summer/fall had done (desperately needed) renovations to the lodge.

Too bad for the setback, at least they will rebuild. Sounds like they are finally moving in a positive direction otherwise. Heard that the lifts had a lot of work put into them over the summer. New Drive for the Main Lift, shortening haul ropes that were long overdue, and lots of com line and electrical work to get things back to code. The Ctec lift is supposedly going to run again for the 2019-20 season.
