Storm hit SLC about 5pm today. We got probably 3" in the valley, Alta was projected at about a foot. Big Sky opening Thanksgiving largely due to snowmaking. It's been cold enough, even without much natural snow. I think they got some last night, a little hard to tell since I came the other way from Bozeman.

Snuck up during a free morning I had earlier this week. Mostly to break in my new boots but also just to be on the mountain. Considering the fact that we've had "less than ideal" snow, it wasn't bad. Where they had been snowmaking was covered and it looked OK in most other places. Patrol did mention something about Swifty's off ramp having no snow though.

Any images of the lift in progress in it's new location that anyone's found by chance?
At least the map acknowledges it http://www.watervill...ow-report-maps/

All good. All open except symphony, and that is this weekend coming up. Cold weather means the snowmakers a hammering the lower mountain for the ski outs.
