Impressive! I'll be interested to see how much of this actually happens on schedule.

Some of the earlier phase like the Gondola, Shedhorn, Headwaters and Iron Horse upgrades are all needed pretty badly. I'm not so sure about things like the Moonlight West, Thunder Wolf, South Face, Six Shooter or Lone Tree upgrades.

My understanding on South Face is that it may be in conjunction with Yellowstone Club and be a 2 stage lift (stage 1 YC access only, stage 2 general public access). We shall see what if ever comes of it. As to the Gondola, it better happen otherwise that heated bubble six they are putting in this summer will be a complete waste of $$. Shedhorn upgrade would be very welcome, but I like Headwaters the way it is. Tends to keep those that should not ride it off of it.

My problem with Headwaters is how short you have to cut your run if you don't want to take the flying couch back up. I think looking up should be enough to scare people off, it's seriously challenging terrain.

The replacement/upgrades to Shedhorn and the core lifts from the village seem like no brainers, but some of the expansion lift ideas leave me unimpressed.

Moonlight West seems like a complete waste, and the other new lift there below the current base is a pretty transparent real estate or marketing play - won't positively impact the experience for actual skiers. Why not build a lift out of the base area to Brainstorm Knob or somewhere else on Lookout Ridge to provide single lift access to 1300-1600 vertical feet of the most consistently pitched, north-facing terrain on Lone Mountain? That would be the ideal first step towards enabling more convenient access to the mid/lower elevations of the Deepwaters area, with a lift in that area serving terrain people actually want to ski.

On the other side of Lone Peak, I'm surprised they haven't proposed doing anything in the basin between Lone and Andesite. Whatever the lift arrangement or capacity changes, it's a junk show getting back down to the village. Why not run a lift down Stump Farm to somewhere along/below Ski Lift Rd. and make that area an advanced cruising pod? Would also allow them to build a lift from that spot up to the top of Andesite, reducing the time to get from one to the other and helping to relieve pressure on the base area at peak times.

At least that's my $0.02.
