Motherlode is being replaced? With what and by whom? I used to work for Randy Gliege, who was part of Grey's installation, correct?

Just the rope is being replaced :) You are correct on Grey!

The spool of new rope is at the bottom of the lift waiting for a winder that's currently at Kicking Horse. Lift is rigged and ready though! Grey repair may be done today or tomorrow.

If you have time, mind shooting some photos of Grey and also the roping process? I really enjoy seeing these things. Also I've never seen the Grey lift before, I'm assuming that's the new Quad that went in a few years back?

I don't have a lot, but here's a shot of the lift rigged down and the marriage of the splice. It was my first time putting a section of rope in, it was interesting to be part of!

So... since your the first resort to get skytrac's tension only terminal are they going to name it after you all ?

After six months, almost to the day without power - it's allllliiiiiiiive! Just in time for it to snow. Now we can do tower services!
