Nice, they're finally getting working on it

But I kinda disagree with your proposal. The towers appear fine for how the lift runs, however I am not sure about maintenance staff and how working on a Stadeli tower is.
Chairs are fine, need new hanger arms probably since every one is rusted to oblivion (oh wait, that's a trail name ;) ) and maybe some pads since there is a lack of them.
As for carpets? Skeptical about it. They're cool but I think they should be used on expert lifts only since it seems beginners will have a hard time with them, and green peak looks like a novice-intermediate expansion.

They're not all that bad. Pretty well built, in fact.

I like you insight there. However, logic does point the way of spending the small amount for new towers to replace 31 year old towers. And for your chair proposals, new hangars would probably include new grips and seat pads added on basically makes new chairs. I wonder if new hangars are compatible with the weird Stadeli chairs. It may be cheaper to get new chairs all togther. Also, the towers do not have real big tower heads

I think there could be a way to weld a new dopp hanger arm to an old chair, or screw it on or something. That is a good point though. Do they even make triple chairs anymore? I noticed it isn't listed on dopp's product line

That's a shame they couldn't make it a HST. Do they have any plans for the old Riblet?

Scrap and parts most likely, it was taken out because it broke down and caused a rope evac.
