Finally! I have been hearing that they have been for sale for years. I cant believe it stayed open during that.
Don't get rid of something before you know how much it is worth.

They weren't broke, the owner just wanted out.

Eldora seller William Killebrew (also known as Bill) is the son of Hugh Killebrew the past owner of Heavenly Valley California. At the age of 23 Bill inherited majority ownership of Heavenly after his father died in a plane crash. Bill is past the age of 60 and I suspect is ready to retire from the day to day operation of a ski area.
