Also consider that this was one of their first high speed lifts, and maybe the necessities weren't very thought out in a rush to get these on the market

but that process is kinda vague, however you can see the chair suspended from a rope and you can see those rails on the tall poles _litz was referring to

Nevertheless I love the way that lift looks (plus is rare). Also do you feel some love for that lift vons and liftmech, sort of like how people love dogs despite the difficulties.

No, I do like the lift, just not the enclosures. You can see there's not much headroom inside. The '88 (and later) design, by contrast, is great for working. http://www.skilifts....werterminal.jpg
