Hello,
I have a ski trip planned to Colorado since I’m an EPIC ski pass holder. I will be skiing all the EPIC resorts between President’s day weekend to the following weekend. I skied Vail about eight years ago and received some advice on here back then, looking for any info at all the Vail resorts that would be helpful, such as parking, Apres ski, places to avoid, best days to ski certain resorts ect…
Thanks for any information you can provide!!

Keystone and Beaver Creek both offer free parking; Beaver Creek's is in Avon and a shuttle runs to the area itself while Keystone's is at the River Run base area.
Avoid Peak 9 at Breck unless you like easy blue cruisers with several thousand other skiers at once.
Apres-- Try the Dillon Dam Brewery. Good food, good beer, great atmosphere. It can be a bit crowded on weekends but worth it.
Epic Pass, eh? No Copper then :(

There is free parking at Breck, but you have to take a bus a couple of miles just to get on a gondola that takes you to a lift that accesses skiable terrain.
Vail, Breck, and Keystone will be BUSY, BUSY, BUSY over the President's day weekend.
A-Basin is another option. I'd go to Beaver Creek over the busy weekend.

A question- where will you be staying?
As 2milehi stated, Beaver Creek would be your best bet President's Weekend as it is the farthest from the day skiing Front Range. To ski Vail on that weekend plan on getting out of the base area EARLY and keep working your way towards Blue Sky Basin. I've found you can take a run or two on each subsequent lift until the crowd builds and then move out again.

Thank you all for your suggestions! Dino I will be staying in Silverthorne, Beaver Creek is what I was thinking over the holiday and hit the remainder during the week Liftmech, first turns I ever made in Colorado were at Copper and enjoyed it, will make it there again sometime. :)

Copper will not fail to disappoint. I'm looking forward to my return to the slopes after many years absent due to health reasons. Copper and Keystone will be 2nd and 3rd on my list. How crowded does Copper and Keystone get on the weekends now a days for those of you who work up there?

While Beaver Creek is sure to be less busy than other resorts, don't be surprised if you encounter some lines. I've been at Beaver Creek about 8 days so far this season and all of my weekend/holiday days there are busier than they have been in the past, I think people are starting to catch on.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions, I had six days of great skiing. President's day weekend wasn't too crowded, I started off at Keystone on Sunday and went to Beaver Creek on Monday. Nice to have some fresh snow and catch it in the back bowls of Vail on Tuesday. The wind on Thursday was pretty wild, seeing a few downed trees, but kudos to you guys to make sure the lifts were safe and kept running!
Thanks again!
Thanks again!
