I realize that other parts of the country are not as fortunate, but thankfully this ski season has been kind to Colorado and I assume many other of the western resorts.

Just returned from a 4 day trip to Southern Colorado, conditions were overall decent. Crested Butte had it's usual scratchiness on the expert terrain and I missed the opening of the High Lift by 2 days but other runs were decent just extremely cold weather. Telluride coverage was very good on all terrain, just getting a bit skied off and hard pack due to the new year crowds which I understand were not even close to the crowds Breckenridge experienced. Sounds like the tap gets turned on again early this week down south, at least, then maybe again for I-70 areas in time for the weekend. Hopefully the other parts of the country will receive snow soon.

Utah got 4-5 feet two weeks ago, with a bit more expected this coming week. It was really nice when I was there, and by the time I left they could use a little more fresh. Everything's open and covered.

It's hard pack but coverage is as good as it ever was last year. High T was still a disaster but such is life.
