back in the day at mount snow, as most of us know they had some very unique chair-driver chair lifts. i want to know how did the chain turn. did it work on a giant gear instead of a normal bull wheel. if any one has a pic i would love it.

No there is just one of the chair, I would also like to know how this would work, you would have to oil it practically every second.

Wouldent be extremely loud with all the pressure on the chain and bullwheel.

Here's a picture. Credit goes to SnowJournal.com - and to whoever actually took the picture - orangegondola, this one yours? Yes it would be very greasy, but you wouldn't oil it - it would be a thick grease that would have to be re-applied every so often.
