The grip design is from Wopfner (Austrian) which still has detachable devices running today. However after the company finished in the 1990s the derivatives of their designs were deployed by LST and BMF.

Also the Porsche chairs are going to be used for another lift over in eastern Europe, however the brand name will be slightly altered.

The Felix Wopfner company closed its business after going bankrupt in 1996. Sucessor company "Seilbahnen & Stahlbau" never came back in the ropeway business as a ropeway builder but is trading with Wopfner parts; the interesting fact is that S&S actually is officcially located at the same adress a former second hand ropeway trader, HSP - Alpinservice had been situated. HSP and two more companies (Hotel Lavenar and the skilift company Pettneu / Arlberg) that HSP - chairman Armand Windisch owned went bankrupt too.
As far as i know LST uses the clamp patent licence since 2004, BMF until 2008.
Best regards, Markus
