A few books of interest:
My top 3 - Spanning the Gate, Structures: Or Why things don't fall down, The Art of Construction. All books have pictures and very little math, all easy to read.

A thing that begins by "conceptual inputs", I don't know the exact title.
A book about the lifts. Some accidents are reported in chapter 4 :).

i'd like to order that book so I can read some chairlift accident... I know I would read the Quicksilver accident at Whistler+ the Teller lift at Keystone

The title is on the tip of my tongue... I know I've heard of it somewhere, either here or in the Vancouver area. It might have been in the UBC library- a wonderful place.

they are talking about the book that Dopp put out. Something Inputs. Cameron you know which book it is.

Until last month, an Internet version was disponible freely on the Doppelmayr website, but they removed it. :angry:

"Conceptual Inputs" its written by Artur Doppelmayr as his thesis statement for his doctrate, I believe.

Contact Doppelmayr Austria, they are the ones who used to distribute the book, but you all are right, it no longer exists on the Doppelmayr Austria website.

Probably not, since that's their only book. You should contact Doppelmayr CTEC and see if they have it.

no u can't buy it. But u can go to your local library and request them to get it for u. (USA)
