I can't imagine. When I had an opportunity to do my internship from Gogebic 20yrs ago, west is where everybody wants to go, but housing cost kept me in the Midwest. Fast foward 20 yrs here in MI, I manage a sweet ski area, have a house that is almost paid for that will make for a nice downpayment someday for a cabin in the high country.

This is why two-thirds of our department commutes over the hill from Leadville.
