My first time at Okemo, was great!
Anyways, I brought back a bunch of images for you guys. The star of the show is:
Sunburst Six (2014 Leitner Poma)
Bottom Station
Attached File  SAM_1714.JPG (470.58K)
Number of downloads: 138Attached File  SAM_1742.JPG (1.52MB)

Number of downloads: 177Attached File  SAM_1719.JPG (461.04K)
Number of downloads: 184
I do quite like the wood side and undersides of the lift, looks a lot more attractive.
As you may see, this is a Six-Pack bubble chair, with heated seats and loading gates.
The Lift Line (Prepare to see a lot of orange :P)
Attached File  SAM_1851.JPG (466.06K)

The Top Station (This lift is a top station drive unlike the old Northstar Express)
Attached File  SAM_1733.JPG (473.77K)
Number of downloads: 113Attached File  SAM_1745.JPG (1.53MB)
Number of downloads: 116Attached File  SAM_1811.JPG (1.54MB)

The Lift As Seen Skiing Down
Attached File  SAM_1813.JPG (1.55MB)
Number of downloads: 119Attached File  SAM_1816.JPG (1.51MB)

By the way, the restraint bar is automated, the bubble is manually pulled down, but at the top the bar pushes the bubble up with it.
I have pictures of most of the other lifts, those will be coming in separate posts. As for videos, I hope to get all of mine up by Friday, but no guarantees.

As you may notice, the grips have "pucks" on them near the end on that wheel that sticks out the side. I'm fairly certain that the pucks are to sense when to open the load gates, and when to open the bar.

The wood siding on Sunburst Six reminds me of the Kensho SuperChair a lot.....
Posted Image

....just, that the chairs on the Sunburst Six have a different design hanger arm and bubbles.

More likely than not, that is to provide power for the heating and the automatic restraint bar.

The "puck" on the grip is actually the electrical collector for the heated seats. The conductor rail is mounted in the terminal.

The black "wire" is the teleflex cable that is used to automatically open and close the canopies. Not part of the seat heating system.

I wondered what it was. Normally, on anything with a bar or doors that automatically open and close, I expect something similar to what is used to open the doors on the BreckConnect Gondola cabins with a small roller-thing.

There you go, Donald. Great observation, as usual.
How do you do in buildings with elevators? Is there such a website? #justkidding

Donald, it still works the same. The cam lever is probably up inside the terminal where you can't see it.

The effect seems akin to riding up inside a giant pair of ski goggles. Which someone else said about the experience of riding Orange Bubble with the bubble down shortly after that lift opened.

According to one of Okemo's video logs, this is the heating conductor:
Attached File  Okemo Sunburst Six Heating Conductor.png (1.98MB)
Number of downloads: 83
Basically, it takes a charge and runs down to the seat pad. It's not continuous heat, it comes in waves, but it feels mostly like constant heating because it is insulated.

Just completed a complete Remontees-Mecaniques series on Okemo.
Ski area profile: https://www.remontee...untain-692.html
Use the translate button in the upper right corner of the webpage. Then scroll down below the map where you can click on any of the 14 lifts plus the late Northstar Express.

Enjoy!
