More at: www.cairngormmountain.org.uk

This is a truly exceptional and unusual opportunity for an experienced engineer/operations leader to join Sscotland's premier snowsports area and year round visitor attraction. CairnGorm Mountain is the highest built infrastructure in the UK and lies adjacent to European designated environmental sites:this presents a number of complex technical and business challenges requiring strong and effective technical leadership.

This key role requires a proactive and hands-on approach to effectively manage a diverse team of people. You will be able to demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. You will be involved in the development and delivery of the company's strategic objectives and will report to the Executive team and Board of Directors.

This is a 7 day a week, year round mountain operation. The successful applicant will be responsible for all technical operations on site. This includes the 1.9km funicular railway, 12 ski tows, buildings and vehicles.

The successful applicant must have an engineering background and a strong track record of managing complex operations. You will have experience of planning and operating pre-emptive maintenance programmes with a strong emphasis on safety. It is also essential that the successful candidate can work effectively in a customer focussed business.
