Thanks for the pictures... Wouldn't it have been cheaper if they had built a intermediate station at the Creekside Gondola.

Could someone draw on the map how far up the mountain the Timing Flats lift goes? I was picturing it going off to the right towards the Peak to Creek runs

I think something like this. Green is the chair and red is the gondola. The Kadenwood gondola would have gone up to the right towards the Peak to Creek run.

I don't think it has been approved by the Forest Service so it won't be happening this summer.

I found a few pictures of the Timing Flats lift at Whistler Creekside. Looks like it runs right next to the Creekside Gondola. It's hard to tell but it looks like it might be a Uni-G, not a Uni-GS.

Your probably right about it being Uni-G. Doppelmayr-CTEC was supposedly doing away with the GS after last year.

Your alignment is ppretty good. The lift is a bit longer than you have shown. Top is near the dirt area.

I went by today, the Timing Flats high speed quad at Whistler is actually a Uni-GS. Maybe it was ordered last year?

Some awesome pics of the towers going in for the new gondola at Sun Valley which is apparently Doppelmayr's biggest project in the world right now. Looks like it will not have the "European" lifting frames like other recent gondolas.

Didn't Doppelmayr CTEC use the europeen version of towers in Beckenridge? But now they use the normal CTEC ones again?

The new Doppelmayr gondola was installed last season at keystone and it had all euro components. Breckenridge installs Poma brand lifts exclusively.

Sorry, I mixed it up. But anyway, why is it like that?

More than likely it was a special request by Vail Resorts, the owner of Keystone. I know that they frequently choose to import European-style lifts, like importing the UNI-G terminals at Beaver Creek, for their resorts.

Then I still don't wonder why Breckenridge didn't try importing the Satelit terminal, it's a bit European to me! Although I still have troubles wondering what Quicksilver would look like under that style.

I was kind of expecting it to take some load off the Creekside Gondola. Maybe notPosted Image.

It appears Massanutten's new Eco quad is complete. Impressive it was done in July!
