May not be a photoshopping but I have no idea what happened on Ragged Mountain's '14/15 map. It was supposed to feature the new spear mountain lift on the cover but clearly, that is not the spear mountain chair.

What is wrong with these photos:
a) The Chair Number '30' is backwards, as if the image was mirrored
b) The Chair has footrests (the real lift only has the handles)
c) The Chair has slatted backrests (the real one doesn't and doesn't have a particular need for them either.
d) There is a mountain in the background with few trees. Not one anywhere near ragged because it's all brown and white as far as you can see basically.

So if you don't have a reference, here is the real lift:

Stock image provided by lift manufacturer or Google. Pretty standard resort marketing department strategy.

Some know I am a fan of Frozen (the Disney one). If only Disney had decided to do a marketing agreement with some ski areas and actually have them rename some of their lifts as a result:

NHskier, it's from a Western resort by the amount of snow on that mountain in the background and the type of skis the two on the right are using, although they look like tourists :goofy:

That looks like a Doppelmayr somewhere like Utah, or Washington, or Oregon. I'm sure that some detective work could find the lift the original photo was taken on.

Kinda looks like one of the new Doppelmayr lifts in Utah with the slatted backrests like Gad 2 and Little Cloud at Snowbird and Mountaineer at Deer Valley

I'd say it's probably Gad 2 or Little Cloud. I'd narrow it down to one of those two.

It's not LC. Ridge in the background isn't the right distance to be either the other side of the canyon or the ridge between Snowbird and White Pine. It doesn't look like Gad 2, but I wouldn't have seen it flipped like that so I may not recognize it.

Not sure if its been figured out yet but the lift on Ragged's new trail map also could be the Whistler Peak Chair, which also has slatted backrests, footrests and also a steep drop off before the breakover towers. The mountain in the background I'm not as sure about. Just an idea =)

I've even done photoshopping on the new Avanti Express lift. Here it is if it were built by a different manufacturer and had a Frozen-theme name:

I don't know if the real lift has dead-white lettering, but I think you might want to make the coloring slightly more weathered to make it more realistic. It's cool to see the little twist though

The real text is dead-white. It's just that with Paint, I can't get the font to reflect the lighting conditions that were present when I took the original picture.

I also don't know what the name is for the new font Vail has used on their trail signs and newer chairlifts (High Noon Express, Gondola One, Mountaintop Express, Gopher Hill, Avanti Express, Sun Up Express), so I had to make do with Arial, which is a lot like Helvetica (the font used on almost every operating chairlift at Vail that was built prior to 2010).

Couldn't you take the eye dropper tool (there is one, right) and use it like that?
Or get the hexadecimal code for the right color and put that in.

Here are a few alternate name photoshops for the Beaver Run SuperChair. Yes, the original shot was taken before the chairs were replaced, but it's easier to do it in this case because of the original sign's use of Times New Roman font.

The Spanish word for 'Frostbite':

Or this Game of Thrones-themed renaming:

And of course, alternate Frozen-themed renamings:

Well, I thought recoloring the lifts looked pretty cool so being the cheapskate I was, I tried it out with Pixlr. Donald's look way better tbh;
