Here's what our job board says:
I'm not a Canadian citizen. Can I apply for work at Red?
You must be able to present a valid work visa to be considered for employment at Red Mountain Resort. Contact the Canadian consulate nearest you for details on how to obtain a work visa.
I tried getting a work visa; they said I need a job offer, but I can't even apply until I get a visa. What gives?
The Canadian work visa policy is meant to ensure that Canadians have the first opportunity to apply for available jobs in Canada. When the employer demonstrates that there is a shortage of specialized workers in the position they are attempting to fill, it is only then that the employer may look outside of the country for help. Though it may be challenging for non-Canadian residents to find a job in Canada, it is not impossible. Speak with your proposed employer or a citizenship & immigration attorney about your work visa options.
