Got pics?
I'm building a 1960's Poma (platter) lift, and I need parts.
I made some, but I made the wrong ones. My buddy owns a defunct ski-resort and has two Pomas, and a t-bar. Only one of the pomas had an upper-part of a carriage, and that's the one I copied. Unfortunately, the two Pomas run opposite each other,..... therefore, I made the wrong part. (If I were working on the lift I took the part off from, It'd work just fine).
So,......... what are these pieces YOU have?

First off, I believe willis is selling sheave assemblies for a Poma brand chairlift, not an actual poma lift.
Second, you should re phrase yourself because I have no idea what message you are trying to convey.

Sounds like he made parts (hanger arms) for a clockwise lift when he needed counter-clockwise, or vise versa.??

"Hanger Arms"?
I suppose. I made five of the contraptions that attach to the cable.
SCRATCH THAT,..... the carriage, (sheave?) isn't ATTACHED to the cable,..... but yeah,..... THAT thing.
I'm building this lift to service snowboarders... so the "Platter" seat is out. Instead, I have a simple set of handlebars to hold onto. (Our hills are kinda short, I'm hoping I can actually hang on until I reach the top).
I'm a machinist, by trade..... so I took a vacation day and played at work on my personal projects. I built five "Hanger Arms" for my lift,..... not realizing that I made them backward. I discovered THAT after closer inspection of the OTHER platter lift that I took my example piece from. (They are polar opposites).
I guess I'll just do it again, and make the proper ones. (I'll save the ones I have, for just-in-case we actually rebuild the OTHER lift).

This is the original. (This is a right,..... I need a left).
.....(Or vice-versa).
