Loon Mountain's Vintage '66 Gondola

I thought people would like to see pictures of the original Loon Mountain gondola we restored for the resort's 50th anniversary. We had the cabin but Lutsen donated the hanger and grip when they retired their old lift last year.

Yes. I'm told linebackers from Plymouth State College made the best "catchers".

Hah, seems like they kept that system at Lutsen. Interesting how long it lived, very cool lift.

We added the window in the door today. I think that's it for this season,but it still needs seats.
