A thread for posting images of lifts in their current locations that started life someplace else.

I'll start with Whitewater's Glory Ridge Chair which started life as Vail's High Noon/Chair 5.

Below are some images, I hope to get some videos up eventually as well.

Some random shots of the lift line, Vail's chair number stickers are still present on a few of chairs such as in the first image:

Nice Pictures
I got a bunch from my state I can, but I have to borrow images since I only started taking pictures about 4 or 5 years ago...
Old Spear Mountain Chair, Ragged Mountain, NH

The original lift was located at King Ridge, NH (the "upside down" ski area) as the King Ridge Triple

The Spear Mountain lift was reinstalled in 1996, I think by VonRoll, judging from the new base terminal it came with.
The lift is now uninstalled and in storage, I think for the new "Pinnacle Peak" expansion it will be reinstalled...

The lift was replaced with a brand new Doppelmayr high speed quad.

I won't do any more for now because I want to avoid huge wall of text and not wanting to type it all in one sitting :P

I stopped by Snowy Range this week to take some pictures for my lift database (posted here: http://liftblog.com/snowy-range-wy/) Does anyone know where all of these Riblets came from? Only one of their lifts was purchased new. Also kudos to the Snowy Range crew; the lifts appeared meticulously maintained and well-taken care of for their age.

Hey, wow.. amazing what a new paint job can do. The last time I saw photos of the lifts there they were all in pretty rough shape. They look great! I heard that the owners of Snowy Range have been trying to sell the place for quite awhile now.

I'll say. They look pretty old but well-maintained

Peter, did you get a chance to talk with any of the techs there?
