Hunter NY still has a double chairlift (H lift) with a floating bullwheel intact.

Sheesh, is that just a poor picture, or is that thing really that rusty?

Think it's pretty rusty.

Preach it rib.

The chairs look all shiny and new but the portal tower / terminal looks like it's "two toned rust" I can see a dark red-ish colored area in some places but the rest I think is straight rust.

That's the H-Lift. It runs the shortest day and season of any lift on that mountain and never runs a full load. They don't really seem to be putting much money into maintaining it. They removed 3 other Poma double chairs from the same vintage between 2011 and 2013, but none had floating bullwheels. That lift is the last one of it's kind remaining at that mountain. The only lifts of similar age are the D and E-Lifts. A 1966 Poma triple (modified with new terminals in 1981) and a 1968 Hall Double respectively.
