Does anyone know what are these metallic parts? Were found in the woods, could be from a jig-back, an old skilift, chairlift or a lumber ropeway.
I can't recognize them as components, do you?

The enumeration of possible types of ropeway is based on what it exists / existed on that mountain. But it can also be from some heavy logging machinery.

Do you have a picture from the top down so you're seeing the top of the curve? I'm wondering if they might have been saddles on lumber ropeways or something.
But I'm guessing pretty hard here. Neat little mystery.
