I was in Mammoth and a mystery lift off in the woods caught my attention while traveling up Rt. 203 (Minaret Road). It was located on the right of Minaret Road heading up toward the main lodge area from the village. It was before the Mill Cafe base area and closer to the base of chair 20 but on the opposite side of the road. It appeared to be a Yan surface lift. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me and the area was cordoned off so I couldn't get very close. Does anyone know anything about this lift?

I don't know a lot about Mammoth, but I think there are to Yan surface lifts there: Poma and Heimo's Express. It was probably one of these two, but once again, I don't know for sure.

It is a lift for a private tubing park located across the access road for their maintenance center. Its a yan surface lift that is in the shape of a triangle like breck's summit t-bar and Killington's south ridge triple.
Everything is just loop-de-loops and flibertyjibbit

The lift was called Bobsled and was installed in 1991. Does anyone know when it was removed? Also the remnants of a rope tow can be seen in the first picture.
