Well all be darned.. I don't think PM has one high speed lift and they intent to stay that way..

They have one HSQ and they do plan on a few more in the future but they are trying to match terrain with speed and capacity to maintain the empty feel.

Big Sky spliced cables today on Powder Seeker. Or at least posted the pictures today.

A manager at Osler Bluff Ski Club in Collingwood Ont told me this weekend that Osler replaced their (very old) J bar this summer with something else. I think the "something else" is a poma lift, but not sure. Anyway, that is a new / replacement build that was not previously noted on this page.

Drove past Heritage Square in Golden this weekend and noticed they had removed the Hall Double that was a part of the former Magic Mountain ski area and served the area's alpine slide. Does anybody know what happened to the lift?

You know, I take that back. I can't confirm it was scrapped, but I'm assuming it was, unless Monarch or Eldora got their hands on it, they are the only 2 resorts in Colorado that have Halls, or had. Eldora may have already replaced their old Hall. I think Monarch still has 2 or 3.

All 4 double chairs at Monarch are Halls, although Garfield and Breezeway have Skytrac drive terminals. Word has it this is the last year for Challenge, Eldora's Hall triple.

Parts went to Ski Cooper, as they have a Hall/CTEC.
