The pulse, one of the most pointless things ever

Over the turn, it runs about 1 m/s or less, and its so cool that both sets dont enter at the same time. That means its going really slow TWICE! Isnt that the greatest idea ever!

The massive bottom terminal for the tram.

I dunno how most trams are, but the one at squaw is both driven and tensioned in the same terminal. Anyone know how it works like that?

Yea, ill post some more tonite. The cabins are CWA 4 seaters (which is dunmb when they could have reused 6 person cabins from the old super gondola; the pulse opened the year after the gondola was closed)

Nice shots, Zack :) Olympic Lady's drive terminal looks like old I-lift at Copper, or so I've heard. Now it has hydraulic tensioning in its new incarnation.

I have them somewhere on my computer, I will look later. CAski took the pictures this summer while he was at squaw.

Skibachelor: What pictures are you looking for? I have but one pic of the Pulse, and it is of the bend from a distance. There are no cabins in that one. But if you want any of the pictures, for the forum or for the listings of all the Northwest lifts, I can find them on my computer... I'm a real packrat.
