Liftblog just did an article on Yan lifts, and how there are two still running original Yan(ish) gear ...

The Iranian lift, at Nazhvan Forest, has indeed been re-engineered with the Pol-X-West grips
The other, in Spain, is running original Yan type-7 grips.

Unfortunately this last Yan detachable in Spain had been replaced this year.
The guy who filmed this video travelled from Switzerland to Spain to save a few clamps and sheave batteries...
