A few lift changes in Utah:

The Canyons:

-Tombstone Express - replaced by a Doppelmayr CTEC six pack in 2006, 123 chairs, not sure on towers
-Dreamcatcher - Doppelmayr CTEC fixed quad - 2006
-Snow Canyon Express - renamed Sun Peak Express a couple years ago
-Lookout - renamed Short Cut lift - received a new set of Yan triple chairs with footrests from Deer Valley's Quincy lift, which is now the Day Break lift at The Canyons (the hanger arms from the original chairs stayed). Short Cut/Lookout got another new set of shiny new CTEC triple chairs and hanger arms without footrests in 2007, along with a new half tower and new Doppelmayr depression sheaves
-Towin handle tow - the Rip a Roo thing isn't there anymore, now it's at the bottom of Golden Eagle to get back to gondola base

Deer Valley:
-Sterling Express - Doppelmayr CTEC HSQ - replaced Sterling triple in 2006 - 98 chairs, 17 towers, 1300 vertical
-Lady Morgan Express - Doppelmayr CTEC HSQ - new installation in 2007 - 60 chairs, 11 towers, 1200 vertical
All the removed lifts are right (minus Sterling) but the Carpenter triple chair, a Yan, was removed in 1990 and isn't on there

Brighton:
-Milly Express, Doppelmayr CTEC HSQ replaced Millicent and Evergreen lifts in 2007

Snowbird:
-Peruvian Express - the lift page is right, but the Snowbird main page still has it as a Doppelmayr double

Powder Mountain
-Hidden Lake Express - Doppelmayr CTEC HSQ from 2006
- Tyler
West Palm Beach, FL - elev. 9 feet

A few things I see:
  • Are the Beaver Creek gondola capacities initial or design?
  • Sun Valley is technically Dollar Mountain
  • Quarter should be Quarter Dollar
  • Pine ridge at YC should either be 4C-Det if the speed is 1000 fpm, or the speed should be 500 fpm if fixed
  • Is the Texas Skyway really 12 person?

For the Beaver Creek gondolas, I listed the design capacity.
Dollar Mountain - Good call, I fixed that and the issue with the Quater Dollar lift.
Pine Ridge is a pulse lift which does operate at 1000 fpm.
I think the Texas Skyway is a bit too high also. It's probably 10, but if someone coudl check their older Doppelmayr World Books and find out, that would be great (I'm on vacation and don't have access to mine).

I looked at 2007 Lift Installation Survey. I noticed Brighton's Millicent Express. It's Milly Express, not Millicent.

To be extremely correct, it is the Whitefish Resort at Big Mountain. Kind of a long name. The ski area is still referred to as Big Mountain, and Whitefish is the resort.

Something to note: The website for Moonlight Basin on the ski area page is incorrectly linked.

As it is right now:
http://www.moonlight.com/

It should be:
http://www.moonlightbasin.com/

I got a question. I have pictures on this site from Loup Loup, 49" north and Blue wood. Have you still not enough time to post them and make a page for them? You seem to put lots of other ski areas up. Shall I just do it my self?

There are quite a bit of images that need to be added. We are in the pre-planning stages for a re-vamp of the skilifts.org site. Most items will appear once the change is made. A group of us are meeting in April to discuss the site and we hope to start on the face lift soon after. The forum will also be getting new software upgrade in the next 45 to 60 days as well.

Yes and the new site most likely won't be launched until its content is comparative to Skilifts.org.

The new website is going to be pretty sweet and will have a lot better user experience or at least that's what we hope.

However, no launch date has been estimated because Skilifts.org is a hobby for all of us admins.
