The triple chair at whitecap. What is going on in the picture? Was that taken during construction or did they finally have to change out the bottom terminal?

They have not reported it open yet this year, and the last 2 years I skied there, it was in the same condition. Pict taken in early Nov'09, appeared they poured new footings. Was told it started to pull out, uphill. Base terminal is approx 20-30' from the lake shore, maybe. "Local" lifties said maybe "he'd" move it to the other side, maybe fix it. Whitecap style!

I don't know if anyone remembers or not but I posted a pic of the bottom terminal of this lift three years ago. Even then it looked like the support towers had rocked forward. Very scary in my opinion. I am glad they finally decided to do something about it because that would be a disaster if they let it go until failure.
