Perk of the Job

Saw this on Killington's Facebook page today and couldn't resist posting it:

Photo is from the top of the Skye Peak Express looking toward the base of Bear Mountain. These are the times where I say, "Damn, I love my job."

View off whistler Moutain. Black Tusk in the forground and the Tantalus range in the back. The Pacific ocean is down in there somewhere.

Moon setting westwards this morning. The phonecam doesn't really do it justice of course.

Inversions make for cool photo ops. Bonus is you don't have to be on an airplane.
(I've tried to place my photo here, but apparently even admin privileges won't let one link a Flickr image).

Here's a picture my passenger took the other day. Not a lift picture, but I work at a small area and we not only work on lifts and cats, but we have to drive them too. And yes, I was grooming a nordic trail with a Park Bully :)

Yes, I work at Badger Pass in Yosemite. The pics were taken at Washburn Point, near Glacier Point. Not bad, eh?

Here are a couple of photos from this season. Definitely a perk!
A foggy early morning in late March:

A gorgeous New Year's day sunset. If you look closely, you'll notice the chairs are swinging from the 60+ mph winds. (don't worry, the lift was closed)

Skier,
Not many pics floating around of the new "10th Mtn Division Chair" at Lutsen, but I did find these two doing a google search, I would bet that Charlie has a few more.

The chair was a welcome addition and while I don't spend a lot of time on Eagle Mtn. I found that the new chair changed the way I ski Eagle Mtn in a positive manner. It makes doing laps on the steeper north face runs much easier and more enjoyable in my opinion.

Thanks....so it sort of runs the same path as the old T-bar out of the chalet area.....I noticed the "Eliis" 8 wheel depress assy. and it appears they have a Bombi tiller on the PB winch??
