I am on my way to ski for a couple days at Steamboat, and wondered if you had any places on the mountain you wanted me to take pictures of. I will take some pictures of the BC triple, Sunshine Express quad, and the Christie Peak Sixpack, because these do not have pictures in the Steamboat lift pictures page. I will check this topic, at least on my Blackberry tonight and probably tomorrow also. I will be skiing tomorrow and Saturday. Tomorrow night I will probably ski at Howelsen Hill also.

Whatever you'd like to take pictures of, have at it. Our pages are a bit behind due to site upgrades and so forth, but we try and update them when we can.

I'm not sure if this site has any pictures of the Bashor lift yet. It services the Maverick's Superpipe and has a very unique set up at the bottom of the lift. That might be fun to get a few pictures of.

Pics of the Wildhorse Gondola station(s), please. If you get to it. Not sure where it ends up at the base. Near the other gondola?

Well, I got back from Steamboat on Sunday and I got pictures of the lifts I said I would and the Wildhorse Gondola and the bottom of Bashor as well as a few other lifts. I will post them here soon, when I get them on my computer. It was really nice with good snow, and sunshine for the last third of Friday and all day Saturday. There were no crowds on Friday, and not too many on Saturday.

Here are my Burgess Creek Triple pictures. They didn't come out as well as I was hoping, as I took them with my Blackberry. The Blackberry has as many megapixles (2.0) as a little HP camera I can also use (I took the Hidden Valley, MO lift pictures with it) but I think it is better, so I will hopfully use it on my other trips later this spring. I think if I use my sister's little 8 megapixle camera, the pictures would be too large for the website. You tell me what you think.

I will post the other lifts as I have time. I will try to take pictures with a different camera when I go to Winter Park later this year.

Donald, feel free to post your pictures in this topic as well.

Yeah, the Poma tower tubes from the old Tombstone lift at The Canyons were reused for the CTEC six pack and didn't make it over to Steamboat

And because of that there's an awkwardly low depression tower or maybe even compression tower....about 2/3 of the way up.

Preview Lift pictures. It was the old Southface Lift, and when the base area was redone, they moved it, I think. I took most of these pictures from the Christie Peak Express.

They did move it. When it was Southface, the lift started at a spot near the Buckaroo learning carpet, or more specifically, the loading station was located between the Gondola terminal and the Ptarmigan Inn, and ended near where the Christie Peak Express lift's midway unload is today. It crossed under the Gondola (the reason why towers 2 and 3 on the Gondola are very close together is because that is where Southface used to cross under, and they didn't bother to redo the Gondola line).
