Officially its only for the homeowners. It'll be staffed by Loon Lifties but will they have to check i.d.s versus a guest list? Sounds a bit excessive to me. What do other resorts who run homeowner only lifts do?
At Snowmass on the pines anyone that shows up we let them ride.....

It's looks like a Galaxy terminal... like ours.
Here is a closer view. As I said earlier, this looks like a new terminal design we have not seen before. It looks like a hybrid of the Galaxy terminal with the European fixed grip terminal based off of the Uni-G. Further evidence that D-CTEC is moving away from the Uni-GS/Uni-Star style and towards the Uni-G/European style.

That does look a bit different - a more refined version of ours which was also a first year design. Oddly enough our terminal is actually a Galaxy-GS according to the prints. Still doesn't address the snow and ice falling off the windows onto the guests!

It's high time CTEC figured out something to do about the snow and ice problems. Poma dealt with this years ago, but the Uni-GS terminals with 90-degree loading dump snow onto the loading area all the time. This is especially a problem on the Lady Morgan lift at Deer Valley, which runs directly east-west and has a bottom terminal that bakes in the sun all day. Skiers load going north, and snow and ice slides right off the south side of the terminal onto their heads. A roof overhang like Poma has on nearly every Omega lift would fix this easily

Is yours a tension-drive terminal?
I was under the impression that both the tensioned and fixed drive terminals were called the UNI-Star. I guess it would make sense that the tension-drive terminal is called the Galaxy-GS considering the previous tension-drive was called the Galaxy. It would also make more sense that only the fixed drive terminal is called the UNI-Star, considering that the fixed drive terminal in the previous line was called the Northstar.

Yep it's a bottom drive/tension.

Here is a picture of the east peak lift at Hyak from the resort's website. This picture was taken on the 27th of January. I find it strange that they are just now finishing up these installs. The new lifts will be open soon enough though.

That looks pretty nice. The last time I saw it, in its former Silver Fir location, it badly needed a cleaning and painting and it was hard to tell if I was seeing rust or really worn-out parts.
