Description
Description: The qualified candidate will assist with troubleshooting, scheduled and emergency electrical maintenance as relevant to all aspects of ski lifts. These include, but are not limited to, electro-mechanical, light industrial control systems, low voltage AC and DC controls, motors, drives and overhead or buried communication systems. Working both independently or as part of the maintenance team, the qualified candidates duties may need to be performed indoors or outdoors, at heights and in all weather conditions.
  • Assist in repair, rewiring and upgrading of electrical lift components.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and repair of lift related Industrial Controls including PLC's and Drives.
  • Assist in installation and repair of overhead and buried communication systems.
  • Assist other team members to assure lifts are operating in compliance with all applicable safety codes.
  • Actively involved in lift emergency procedures and time dependant repairs.
  • Ability to prioritize according to departmental goals.
(Schedule: 40 hours per week, 4 x 10 hour days, overtime as needed)


Qualifications
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years electrical and electronic experience, including the installation of low voltage control systems.
  • Experience in operating and interpreting readings of digital test equipment including multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Must be comfortable working efficiently at heights in excess of 100 feet for extended periods of time.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Intermediate proficiency on computers
  • Valid Drivers license
  • Ability to work outside in all high alpine weather conditions
  • Must be able to lift up to 100lbs
  • Must be fluent in all aspects of the English language
  • Must have flexible schedule
Preferred Skills:

  • Fabrications skills
  • Previous Ski area or Automation maintenance experience
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
