Not that I would want to wait until THAT late!
Well here are some Breckenridge lift pictures of the Independence SuperChair.

That's me about to head down the waterslide at the Grand Lodge on Peak 7 (which was BRR cold), but I call it a Lift Photo if you see the Independence SuperChair in it.

I see they actually bought a real carrier than using a bench.
I'm not sure if this is an updated version that was in the NY subway system.

This is an interesting "photographic study" (not my terminology but adds to the dire feel of the place) of a closed ski area in michigan called Sugar Loaf. It's sad to see nobody has taken this place over and tried to make a go of it.

Makes me wish I got to ski there. I never ventured that way my first years on this side of the lake. Pic #11, with the lakeshore, very nice, also one of its 'downfalls'. (warm temps 4 snowmaking). Nice find. I think we just need about $15 mil for the property and improvements.....

From last I heard you might need more than 15 mil, the hotel is moldy and the lifts haven't moved in years. A buddy of mine did some hiking there last winter to ski awful awful, he said it was a good time.

Yes thats the one, its a shame nobody did anything with it some of the best views from a michigan ski area.
I've been to the Homestead Resort in the summer and the view of the Lake from there isn't too shabby!

I've heard of some folks looking into the possibility of purchasing/reopening that area....don't know how far it has proceeded.

Nor are the views from the nubs, Porkies, or Mt Bohemia (on a clear day) but the views from sugarloaf are very nice.

What I last heard was the local government was trying to force the current owner to sell the property to them and they would try to operate the ski area or turn it into a park of some kind.
