Nope- one's a Tom Tom and the other's a Garmin GPS; I use one for my final destination and the other for stopping points; useful for planning a trip that will take a few days.

Just bought a 99 Subaru Forester! Only 98K miles on it, but after taking in for an inspection, found out that the head gasket would soon go out, plus needs a new clutch, timing belt, rear struts, so I was able to buy it for $500, putting in a couple thousand into the repairs, and it should be all set for me! Finally, all wheel drive!

I'm driving a 2004 Civic LX. Maybe not the nicest car, but it gets me from point A to point B, and the MPGs are great! It didn't do too poorly in the winter either.

Warren looks nicer than the 89 F 150 I had for awhile. My 89 named "Old Blue" was fun to drive but began developing problems while it was parked and had a puddle underneath always from several fluids which were leaking. I finally had to donate it to a charity who picked it up from my house and I was able to claim a tax write-off. It was worth more that way than fixing it. I would like to find another work-type truck but would like to find one not quite as old and worn out.

Nahh it's an '95 SW-2 Great little car I put down the seats in back and I can fit just about everything. Goes great in the snow with 4 snows on in the heavy New England glop. Just has a little trouble in puddles. The muffler and muffler pipe rust out frequently too. She's got almost 140,000 miles on her and my mechanic says she'll run to 200,000 if I don't go muddin' in her anymore.

My aging 89 GMC Safari had gotten to the point of wanting replacement. My wife and I responded to a local used car promotion.
We went there with the hope of finding an appropriate 4WD for getting to and from work in the winter, but the seduction fairy led us in a different direction.
In the end, we settled for a fuel-sipping light-weight compact with only two seats... and a supercharger. I think the Devil made me do it.

This thing is a technophile's garden of sensors and systems. Hope it doesn't keep me too busy.

Well I'm kicking a 2006 F-150 4x4 with 120,000 on it, not a fuel sipper by any means but it gets the job done. I also drive our fleet of Sterling Tri-Axle dumps (with a few peterbuilts and kenworths mixed in for good taste.), didn't realize that pic was so big :shocking: , I wouldn't try to open it.

So, still driving the civic, also a fuel sipper. Gets 40 MPG highway, which makes me very happy!

For work, our company has two main vehicles. Our first is a 1992 Chevy Silverado with pinstripes of course! It's a piece of junk with more issues than I'd like to list, the largest problem that we are always complaining about is the fact that the radio doesn't work. Our second main vehicle is a 2007 Chevy Express 2500 van. White. Crank windows, nothing special. But, compared to the Silverado, its a Cadillac, and the best part is....the radio works!!

Steering Colum internals are screwed up. Needed 230.00 worth of brakes, tranny slipping when super cold, the engine went though a gallon of oil over a 6 month period. (6.2l diesel)

I think those things are advertised in SAM for use on maintenance vehicles and for access to remote cabins, etc. Seems like a good idea, just not sure what it does to the car over a long period of time. Looks like a lot of fun though!!

They used to advertise these in construction magazines (like 10 years ago) and at the time they wanted something like 20k for a set of four :shocking:

I was "romanced" into exchanging our Jeep Grand Cherokee for a German SUV. I love it as much as my significant other does. Hope it doesn't keep me too broke with the upkeep.
