Went up to Middlebury Snowbowl again. The tower foundations are dug and the molds are set for the concrete pour.

Also, I believe Poma just signed another small lift in Quebec that they will start on Oct. as well as a lift in France from POA....

On a related note, does anyone know if this years Leitner Poma detachable lifts are going to be omegas? I remember that there was suppose to be a new terminal design coming out soon. Will we see one of those this year?

There are only two, at Marmot Basin and Nakiska and both are the same as the detachables of the past few years.

Since when does CTEC use those types of four-point tower footings on new lifts? I thought they moved to the later round type in the early 90s

More Marmot Basin...
They purchased the AC drive. Cummins has also re-designed the muffler to make it more quiet, I believe this is the first one.
The cedar under skin comes with lift as well as the insulated terminal roof.
The new lift looks like a transformer next to the older lift...

a fly day in France by the BMF crew http://www.dailymoti...-vlm-2009_sport

On a side note please attach the pictures to your post don't insert them, that way I(and other bandwidth limited persons) don't have to wait 5 min for your huge picture to load unless I/we decide to view it. the huge pictures may be why the editor won't open up the link insert feature today... or my computer is just loosing it.

Does anyone happen to know where this Partek came from?

It's unlikely it came from anywhere. There are no Partek double-doubles that have been removed. As I've said before, it sure seems like Ski Lift Parts Inc. is still making brand new lifts.
