I like the old Gondola, Is there anything left of it, (cabins towers) or is it completely gone?

It looks as if chair 3 had already been shut down ib that photo. I believe nothing was left of the gondola except for the stations which are now the new gondolas.

That's the 3 old chairlifts of the Expo @ Tremblant

The left double was removed in 1991 to become the Duncan Express. The Middle one operated until 1993 before it got replace by the Expo Express. The single chair was torn down in the mid 80's

Chair 3 is in operation in that picture, you just cant see the line becasue it is a fairley steep lift. As for the gondola, i dont think anthing is left besides from the midstation. The bottom has a new building housing the terminal, and i believe the same is true for the top building. Sad to see no pictures or snything of it left and the mountain.

From that picture, it doesnt look like there are any chairs on the line of Chair 3. You can see a little bit of the line, and it's empty. Also there's no maze and it looks like it's roped off

When was the new gondola built?

1998 was the year gondola closed so i believe either 1999 or 2000 sounds right

Why did the old yan HSQ was removed ?

Is it because of maintenance problems ?

I dunno, but I might be able to find out this summer or you could e-mail them and they will tell you. Maybe Big White didn't feel safe having those Yan HSQs and wanted them out when they bought Silver Star?

Here's a floating bullwheel assembly of the type you don't see that often. Top of C-lift (1972 Heron-Poma fixed platter)
