I hate the transfer tow at Alta or any tows and I never use them because the rope ruined my gloves!!! When I grabbed the rope, a rope scratched and burned my gloves.

Instead of ride Collins or Sunnyside/Sugarloaf to go over the mountain and ski down either Albion base or Wildcat base. It is easy way than the transfer tow.

Check out Alta pic of the day. The wild life is pretty cool, but it looks like the transfer tow is being disassembled. Anybody have any ideas whats going on?

If the rope looks detensioned, that's true. Good fox, though!

I actually know the skier in the photograph, and there was no photoshop involved. The guy has hucked off of some pretty high cliff bands before at Snowbasin and for him to jump off this tower would be nothing.

Does anyone have any pictures of the Timberline quad that went in last summer? I haven't seen a single picture of it yet.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I meant the Timberline lift at The Canyons.

The Timberline lift at The Canyons has the UNI-Star terminal. I saw a picture of it at the Doppelmayr CTEC booth while at PNSAA. It's also the same color as the Tombstone Express.
