The pictures of the Peak 2 Peak continue to amaze me...

The guys at Whistler Blackcomb must've gotten bored with riding on top of the Peak to Peak cabins and grips.

Some more pictures of Killington's new Skye Peak Express are up today. They just put the drive in today I gather:

Chairlift n. A transportation system found at most ski areas in which a series of chairs suspended from a cable rapidly conveys anywhere from one to eight skiers from the front of one line to the back of another.

The old Little Cat Terminal area. They really did a good job of fixing up the mountain when they tore her down.

Here are some photos I took today at Badger Pass. First pic is our Yan terminal being modified to accept a Doppelmayr motor room.

Not a new lift, but a beautiful one none the less. Needles Express 8 Person Gondi. Note the maintenance carrier on the line, used for maintenance and also to bring down trash from the Needles Lodge at the top.

Top Terminal (note the old lodge in the background, which is still used from time to time for special events)

The Ride time of Little Cat Express is going to be about 2 and a half min, but with the slow speeds in the terminals, it will be extra helpful to the new skiers, before they graduate to the non-High Speed lifts at the Basin. (Becker, WildCat, Middlebowl, Porky)

Agreed about the guy in the leg harness, the other guy is clipped in to the lift with another sling. I removed the pics to protect the guilty. I'll put some other pics up later.
