That looks expensive, almost like a highway overpass.
Also, I think Keystone's is a SunKid so Buck Hill could get away with it if theirs is a Magic Carpet brand one since Magic Carpet is technically a brand.

Yes, Keystone's is a Sun Kid. And you are correct about the Magic Carpet brand thing.
I believe it was very expensive. Plus, it wasn't a crucial install. They could have used the old Hall from the boneyard. I think they went overboard with it, but oh well.

This is starting to stray off topic, i know, but yes it seems like a new chair would have been nicer, easier, but hey time will tell. The lift that the quad replaced was a Miner-Denver and was scraped.
I recently saw this install, and the idea and length is impressive for a previously unused area.

He's referring to the old Hall that ran up the other side of Ballroom between Ballroom and Crossroads, not the old M-D. I would assume that now the hall will either be scrapped or sold, because the plan was originally to use it in the beginner area, which has now, conveniently, been outfitted with magic carpet galore.

The area was well-used before. The lift access just wasn't ideal. You had to ride the beginner tow rope and walk up about 10-15 feet. Then ski down to the j-bar. Or just ride the triple and ski down to the area. It was initially a bad system, but it was very old. This new carpet really makes the teacher-accessible area much larger.
