I just purchased the last components Sunday to do my first build, a business/office PC. The processor is more than I wanted but it was on sell too cheap to pass up, which made everything else go up. It could be a great gaming PC also.

Case-Antec 4480 380W
MB-Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3L
CPU-Intel Core 2 Dou E8400 (6 friggin MB of L2!) 3.0 GHZ 45nm
Ram-2GB (2X1) Corsair XMS2 PC2-6400
Video-BFG nVIDIA GeForce 8500GT, 1GB DDR2
HD-Seagate 500GB SATA-2 16mb buffer
Optical- LG DVD-RW 20X
OS-XP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Total price $635 after rebates.

My original plan was for an E7200 and keep the cost under $500, with on-board video and such, but I found the E8400 on sale for $139.99.....

Both of mine are damned good - so good, in fact, that I can't disclose the details.

Their data content is even better. No junk - no games.

Mine has two lose keys, about 8 sticky ones from ice tea, and a five year old attached to it many afternoons. Can't identify much else about it. :w00t:

My computer was 'assaulted' by a drunken co-worker during a trip this spring, somehow he mistook my laptop bag/briefcase for a urinal in the middle of the night. :censored2: Good thing the case is heavy duty, and closed.

Wow, you don't hear that every day... :w00t:

update: got a new mac keyboard today it's amazing and it types really well. Going to either use for my PC or for my MacBook with a new setup of using my 22" monitor as a secondary for my mac with the mac off to the side. I also ordered a mini DVI adapter and iPhone 3G dock for my iPhone and its all awesome.

I couldnt resist but to take some pics of the keyboard. It's so thin!

Mine is a Gateway Performance XL

850 GHZ Pentium III
384 MB DDRM
30 GB Hard Drive
DVD-ROM (CD-RW drive is broken)
Windows XP

I want to get a Dell XPS 420, but I have no idea when I will do this. I hardly work on Skilifts.org because of all the low memory warnings I get shortly after boot-up.

Why don't you buy some ram? DDR-2 ram is like $10 per gigabyte.

As for my stats:

3GB DDR2 533mhz
1.86Ghz Core 2 Duo
7500 GeForce (want to get a nine series card)
Dual 19inch screen
C: 320gb SATA2
E: 250gb SATA2
Networked: 320gb
Backup 1tb + 200gb (I have lots of photos you see?)
Lightscribe DVD/CD
Ontariodude: Vista 32 can only use 4gb of ram no?

Vista

Vista-32 can only utilize 3 - 3.25GB RAM max. With my 6GB when I'm running vista-32 it reads 3GB. If you want to use more than that, get Vista-64. Above all that, Vista-64 is better now anyways and there are drivers for it for pretty much anything unlike when it was released.

I run a Black MacBook.

-2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
-2GB RAM
-250GB Hard drive (new)

I just got a new hard drive, as my old one died for absolutely no reason. I also have a 500GB TimeCapsule and a 300GB Lacie external hard drive. I would like an iMac or MacPro if I had the $$$.

Can you run 32bit programs with a virtualization program on Vista-64? Seems to me the application choice is small otherwise, might as well go to a mac (leopard runs 64bit and 32bit programs side by side). On Apple website "64-bit addressing of up to 16 exabytes of virtual memory and 4 terabytes of physical memory"!!!!! I admire your keyboards people! I am planning to upgrade GFX card to 8800GTS (second hand).

I'm looking for new cases (I want a Lian-Li full tower but they are insanely expensive) and I want a new PSU because this one is a bit too loud but it's still really nice. These are semi-old pics but not much has changed since then, its less of a mess but its still not very neat lol.
