He was signing at the local Albertsons. I did ask him how his health was... his reply "Its been better, kind of on the down side, I was better towards the end of the season". I did not pursue the second question... "Are you in season 5?"

Jesus, Bill - you've aged.

I feel your pain man, when I was 18 years old I woke up in the hospital 2 days after an accident. To this day I still don't know what exactly happened I can only piece together bits of what everyone tells me. :stretcher:

My brother david and his friend both don't wear safely belts, his ATV sat on back of his truck...heavy weight. He turned left or right (I don't know which one) and got out of control...his truck rolled over 4 times. David threw out of his truck and his friend held ceiling inside the truck and was uninjury. David's spinal cord T-4 and T-5 broke. He has paralyzed from waist down to toe. Now he uses wheelchair.

He still don't remember what happened (over 25 years).

My neice still don't remember what happened for 8 years. He sat alone and sledded in backward all the way down to the bottom (on ski slope area) and hit the block fence of the restrurant. I saw that happened with my own eyes. He was unconscious. My sister turned the head side very carefully, because he vomited up. I saw his arms and legs moved. I told my sister that I was happy his neck doesn't break. She was relieved. The helicoptor came and took him to the hospital. Only four pieces of back of his skull cracked. Left half of his face paralyzed (he can't smile on one side).

I still remember what happened when I was 11 years old, my mother, my young brother and I were on the freeway. In the front of the car quickly stopped before my mother hit the brake to stop, but she got out of control...went curved, went over three lanes (lucky no cars hit us) and hit the wall. I still remember I saw myself flew in the air and right toward to hit the windshield. My forehead hit so hard. I saw big star flashed in my eyes then I blacked out (I was unconscious...not know how long). I woke up and saw the policeman talked to my mother. I realized I couldn't move or get up. I couldn't feel over my body. I thought I had paralyzed from my neck to down to my toe. My mother and my brother were not injury at all. I was very quiet and I noticed my feeling were very funny like ants crawled over my body. I finally moved my body and I got up. I was dizzy and don't feel good. My neck was in pain. Surprsied the policeman didn't order or call ambulance to take me to the hospital instead of we went home. About 27 years later, my doctor took x-ray of my neck and noticed my spinal cord bone is not straight inside my neck. He can't fix it. Well how am I lucky that I don't become paralyzed. I am happy I still go skiing.
