Nubs Nob 'new' Grey Lift. Looks to have the Superior(Ellis) Design sheave frames. Runs just a little longer than the Black, straight up parallel to the black. Sorry only cell phone pics.

I had some free time and went to nubs to get better photos. I must say I am glad to see lift being put in that isn't a poma or doppelmayr.

Nice photos

I noticed the chairs are Riblet quad chairs. Can you tell me if you are using the Riblet design clip or have the they been changed to external grips. We recently experiance some problems with cracks on quad chair installations.

As promised, Mt. Baker Chair 1 pictures. Interesting to note that neither terminal is height adjustable like in past lifts. Also, the drive is a Uni-Star, not like the custom diesel drives of chairs 3, 4, and 6.

Well that certainly looks different... It'll be nice for those guys not to have to keep the vault plowed out. As for the height-adjustable thing, the bottom doesn't need it because it's right on the road. We never had a problem with that terminal geting too low, as you can see it drops right off into the creek. Midstation's a different story; the big snow year that thing was darn near buried and it was 35'-40' tall. That might still be adjustable.

Did they sell that lift? It was pretty new wasn't it? I mean like the 90's. A smaller ski area would love a lift like that. Or are they keeping the parts or what?

This photo is several weeks old, I was going through some shots from this summers' tram construction.

The first track rope was pulled up yesterday. We grouted anchors and observed hydraulic installation.

So with the new lower gondola, it connects with the other gondola? Was that in the designs for the original gondola to be connected with another gondola at the bottom?

It was always planned to be 2 connected gondolas. The day lodge is at the midstation and nothing in the village was completed yet, so there was no reason for the lower section last year. It is two separate systems, however, with 2 cables and 2 drives.
