Rob, do you guys have to take that seat off the grip before entering the stations? How heavy is it?

I haven't seen it in person, but I'm told it is reasonably easy to take on and off and does need to be removed before it comes into the station.

Yeah, thought you would have to take it off...it just looks like it would be kind of awkward. You'll have to post some photos when you get out there and have it in use!

I'm hoping for a nice sunrise shot one day.

Couple of odd photos. This one is a cable spool at Fitzsimmons corner on the mountain road.
The convoy spun out here and they had to add the skidder to get it around the corner. You can't see it but there is another rock truck behind the red flat deck pushing.

This winch is at the top of Whistler now to pull the haul ropes up once they're in the valley.

I was going to put up a couple more but ran out of space. D'oh

When were those pictures taken? Those have to have been from a while ago, right, because otherwise the amount of snow remaining on the lower portion of Whistler is insane.

The winch photo is from May.

Well maybe not as interesting as the p2p or any larger projects, our lovely michigan resort, Nub's Nob has a picture of them setting the base area terminal supports for the new used superior tramway triple chair. Picture from nubsnob.com

So I guess this doesn't run exactly parallel to the current Pintail Peak chair, then, but close? Is this correct?

It's close but there is some breathing room between them, the terminals seem to be staggered some also.

The bottom of the black chair is just to the right in the photo. Same top area.

PCMR is making progress cutting the line for the new Crescent HSQ. This is a pic I took from the Marriott roof a couple days ago. They are digging out tower footings.

Are they not planning to remove the old Ski Team lift this summer? It looks like they won't have to take it out to make room for the new lift

I'm not sure about Ski Team. But it looks like Crescent will go nearly right over Ski Team's bottom terminal. As far as I understand, Crescent's bottom terminal will be just down-run of that mountain coaster bridge.

It looks like the bottom is going right next to the end of the Ziprider, parallel with the bottom of Payday. The website says the new lift replaces Ski Team, but they haven't touched it yet so who knows.

Is this Ski Team listed on Mad River Lifts: Yan for Sale

Yes. There are a lot of lifts on there that are still standing/operating and for sale. A bunch of Squaw Valley backup lifts are for sale with removal to be done by the buyer.
