Sorry, but meat makes me feel good and happy. After a long hard week at work I enjoy going out to one of the local steak houses for dinner. I do understand people feeling bad about animals, but I grew up raising pigs and chickens for food. I think learning at a young age where the food you eat comes from helps. We slaughtered our own animals and I plan on teaching my kids at a young age where the food they eat comes from so they're not traumatized by it later in life. I've seen 6 and 8 year olds coming to the realization way way way to late in life of what meat really is. :cursing:

The choices of what was eaten are also an issue as well as the rest of his lifestyle choices. If anyone out there would finance me, I'll eat nothing but McDonalds for a month and show an improvement in health, I guarantee it and I am already pretty healthy. Of course I'll have to have some kind of compensation for eating McDonalds for a month, it is my least favorite fast food. By alot! :w00t:

Right now, for the right dollar, I'd main-line V8!
Until that happens, I'll continue with a well-mixed diet - chemicals, weird critters and all.

The new Rep. VP nominee has a bumper sticker that reads-
"Vegetarian is an Indian word that means bad hunter".. at least that's what the press reports...
Nothing is so perfectly amusing as a total change of ideas.

Order a veggie burger with bacon and cheese, that'll always raise the cooks eyebrows. Everything in moderation (including food !)

As with most things, the Greeks had a word for it: Posted Image

or as we would spell it, sophrosyne - pronounced "soh-froh-soo-neh"

Generally taken to mean moderation in all things (according to Plato)
